Woo! Master Sargeant.

Work goes well. Life goes well. Going to go up to Camosun today, and try and register for classes, or at least fill out the form that you need to fill out. My luck has probably run out and I won't be able to avoid having to pay the $150 dollars this time.

I'd rather play World of Warcraft than play LiveJournal. It's much more rewarding. I can see myself playing it for a long time to come, particularly with the team work aspect that I encountered recently.

I'm still amazed that there's actually good and bad players in that game. At a cursory glance, the game appears to differentiate players based purely on how long they have spent playing their character, and gaining new levels. However, since there are a few handfuls of different skills to manage, each with a different use in a different situation, the good players are the creative and quick thinking players, who know when to use a particular skill.

Add team work in there as well. When you're part of a group, you've all got different skills and strengths, and the team that will be most succesful will be the team that plays to everyone's strengths, and works together. For instance, on the weekend our group of 5 was having trouble with a particular area (Stromgarde Castle), we kept dying because we weren't working together very well. Later on in the day, it was just 2 of us, and we managed the entire area with no problems.

I dunno, that's why I love this game. Just so you know. :P

Congrats on Master Sergeant! Make sure to get your Insignia of the Alliance at the Quartermaster in Stormwind, if you haven't already. :)

You'd be surprised at the situation of good and bad players, I think. I know people who have been playing for a good long while, but still don't understand some of the very simple concepts that are practically necessary to play their character well (and hence, they don't). Or they're just complete fucking retards to begin with. :P

in the end, it all comes down to gear :P i mean, there are a bunch of retards at level 60 still, but they generally are recognized as such and aren't in the good guilds etc and so are easily avoided.

I mostly enjoy how much quicker I type now that I play. It works well for writing papers as fast as I can so I can go level or whatever.

Congrats on Master Sergeant. I'm hoping to hit it next Tuesday, provided this battleground time pays the fuck off.

Comox! Tomorrow! Comox!
